Woodland Bark 65L Bag

Our woodland multi-purpose bark is a shredded forestry woodchip, dark brown in colour and commonly used for decorative and weed suppresion purposes in gardens. Woodland bark can be used in borders, pots and other soil filled areas. Bark allows water to seep through the voids to hydrate subsoils and plant roots whilst blocking out sunlight to prevent the sprouting of soil weeds. Woodland bark also offers insulating benefits in cold weather, retaining soil heat and protecting plant roots from freezing. Typical chipping sizes range from 10 - 40mm. Our bags of bark are suitable to be lifted by hand for easy manoeuvring around the garden.
