Plasterboard Tapered Edge Fire Board 2400 x 1200 x 12.5mm

Fire board or 'Fireline' is an enhancement of traditional plasterboard. Its gypsum core is combined with fibreglass and additives to heighten its fire protection characteristics. This board is visually defined by it's red coloured paper facing designed for plaster to be applied directly to the surface. The additional fire protection properties above standard board products enable the plasterboard to be used in partition, ceiling and steel encasement systems where more stringent fire performance is required such as in domestic separating walls, corridors, garages and steel encasement.

• Perfect for cladding internal walls and ceilings where enhanced fire protection is required.
• Easy to cut. Simply score and snap using a Stanley knife and straight edge, or, for more complicated cuts use a plasterboard saw.
• Easily fixed to masonary walls using plasterboard adhesive
• Easily fixed to timbers using drywall screws Ready for plaster to be directly applied.
• Joints can be simply completed by taping up with plasterboard scrim tape.
