Digby Stone's Selected Essential natural stone is the perfect combination of value and quality. The selected essential sandstone and limestone range has been hand chosen especially for Digby Stone, guaranteeing high quality calibrated sandstone at fair affordable prices. Digby Stone's pure grey sandstone (also known as Khandla grey), is a solid muted grey natural sandstone and exceptionally popular. It lends itself to the more modern and contemporary garden design although it cannot be dismissed for the more traditional rustic project. Birch Blend has a slight textured riven surface, enhancing its character. The sandstone edges are handcut (physically chipped to size by hand at the quarry) meaning the edges are slightly fettled / riven. Digby Stone recommend a joint gap of approx. 10mm which should be infilled using a suitable sandstone jointing compound.
