Bulk Bag Building Sand

Building or builders sand is a fine grain sand used for brick and block laying in wall construction. To produce a bricklaying mortar the building sand needs to be mixed with cement and water at ratio recommended for the application. Typically a ratio of building sand:cement of 4:1 would be a suitable brick laying mortar ratio with water added at the workers discretion to produce the desired workabilty. To further enhance mortar workability a plasticiser can be added to the mix.
